Welcome to the Facebook page for the Town of Hartford Fire Department. The Department protects 38 square miles and covers the five villages of White River Junction, Quechee, Wilder, West Hartford, and Hartford that make up the town. The approximate population is 11,000.
The Town of Hartford Fire Department employs twenty full-time employees and approximately ten call firefighters providing fire and advance life support services to the community. Per year the Fire Department responds to approximately 1,700 emergency calls. The central fire station is manned 24/7 and is located in White River Junction. There is also an unmanned station in the village of Quechee
The Department has some of the most dedicated, caring, and trained personnel equipped to handle any emergency faced. These individuals are committed to advancing the Department to be the best, and will settle for nothing less.
